It is too hard sometimes to decide how you want your entertainment room to look. With the ever changing world of technology and audio video equipment getting thinner we tend to want the latest and greatest. Such is the case for most people and that includes the very popular plasma television. There are many decisions to be made when choosing a new plasma TV not the least of which is figuring out how to set it up in your room. Do you want it to sit on a stand like your existing TV probably does or do you wanna mount it on the wall like so many are doing as of late.
The first thing to do is decide on what size TV because chances are it wont fit in your existing entertainment center, not to mention it probably doesn't go with the new TV color anyway. It is a hard decision to make because when a TV is mounted on the wall it becomes part of the room and gives a very clean look like a picture frame that belongs there. As long as wiring can be hidden cleanly and there is no clutter hanging is a preferred method in my opinion. It takes makes for more room in you living room or entertainment room for other things and gets the large TV out of the way.
Tv Mounts
The drawback to mounting is that you have to consider where you wanna put the receiver. Almost everyone either has satellite or a high def box from your local cable provider, either way you have to use a receiver box and that will have to sit somewhere. It could perhaps hang underneath the TV itself cleanly or sit on a table or small stand on the ground underneath. Mounting above a fireplace mantle is a great place to hang your new plasma TV just make sure you account for wall fishing the wires. It can be tricky if you have a chimney to deal with cause you cannot run wires easily without drilling into the chimney. That can be costly to say the least.
TV stands are a great way to house wiring and store your media and if you have the room in your living room to do so I would recommend a nice name brand TV stand that makes your room decor and your new TV that much better to look at.

Keep It Clean
